M18Pro - Wrong Size Countersinking = Broken Chassis

Nuremberg International Toy Fair starts the first, so I would assume that they are extremely busy this week/weekend.

Hi Mario,
I've got the same problem, the countersinking of the M18Pro is by 1mm larger than the M18 carbon.
I think it have to be an error, what could you do ?

Here are the photos:

The screws are exactly the same size between the 2 M18.

I took pics but don't know how to post them here.

However my chassis looks just like the pictures already posted (thanks), except my chassis is split around the screw for the front bumper.

Still no response from Xray, either here or to my personal inquiry and complaint I submitted. I actually sent a 2nd inquiry through their 'Contact Us' link on the main site.

This issue is really frustrating me as there is no way I can ever understand how countersinking for a 3mm screw would be considered adequate or even safe considering the chassis are only 1.6mm thick. I wish I could get picks of my chassis up here so you can see how thin the material is where the countersinking was done.

Even my new blue chassis set is terrible.

I looked at pics of the M18pro on the Xray website and the bottom chassis pic has the proper size countersinking. The graphite chassis they offered for the original M18 had the proper size. This is what I'm after and nothing else.

Well, my new chassis should be here tomorrow, I really hope it has the correct countersink depth. After looking at my chassis that has been trashed, the apex of the screw head protrudes through the chassis. This cannot be correct, I'm sorry to say. I've worked construction for 8 years and now have been working at an Engineering company for 10 years as a CAD designer and department manager.

I really do not think this concern has been addressed properly. Please look at your pictures on your website, i.e. M18 Pro. My chassis and upper deck do not resemble this at all.

This is a friends M18Pro, lookinge better, but the edges of the countersunk is terrible, i dont think this is Xray class..
