XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi,

I just rebuild my new nearly used XB8.... Now I move into the setup fase. When measuring droop I found that the chassis plate seems to be a bit tweaked.... I put the car with the shocks removed on the setup board and I can confirm a bit of play when pushing on the left side half way the car... app. 2 mm op play. Question... Can I assume the chassis plate is tweaked from itself or could it be because of the build... In other words; would you expect the chassis plate to be perfect when disasambling the car. Can I remove this tweak by tightening or untightening some screws ?

For your info: the chassis plate does not have more than just a few small scratches and I believe the seller when he told me no real big crashes have occured.... the chassis plate would have showed this....

Any experiences ?
