XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi,

Currently I own 2 Xray cars... The original T1 and a T1 FK05. The T1 is just assembled but has never driven, de FK05 is pretty heavily used for 2 saisons and I purchased it 4 months ago... At the moment I can sell these 2 cars and buy a new T2R from the revenue....

I read many issues on the T2 so I'm not sure if this is the way to go. I do not compete in any competition but drive once in a while on a track. I like the T2 for its innovative design and I like the idea of having built a car by myself.... and he, it's the newest XRay car....

I know it is a silly question but what would you do... go for the trade and get the T2R or stick with the other 2....

The t2r is 3/4 of the t2 at 1/2 the price, it's a great deal if your not die hard into racing.

hi, i have just finished building my t2r and what a pleasure it was.having driven my t1r for nearly 3 years and it took me to taking 1st in my club championship .personally get the t2r you will not regret it(bear in mind i have not driven the t2r yet) ,but i have no doubt it will be a pleasure at it was to build. the only concern i have is you cannot get them and people will go for the pre built cyclone and thats just not right. so if you can get one get it.ianp

hi, having now raced my t2r i can report that it was as good as i thought.Having qualified for 3rd place in a main final on a basic setup i finished 5th overal( after being persuaded too crash by another driver at the start). not the best final position but the car was good but a little loose on the rear.my advice would be get ONE, as a former other brand driver on his first run won the A main final. good price , good car excellant backup.ianp

stick with the fk05. u'll be disappointed with the lack of gain in buyin the new 'sport level' xray. your present sled is more than capable, even on carpet and especially on asphalt. have many folks who still run the 05, its a tank, and sure doesnt tweak easy. either way good luck

i just upgraded to t2'007 (its awsome) from the tfk05 and my 05 was awsome, i won chanpionship with it against t2's and you almost never need spares.
