diff grease?

i'm starting the build on my tq and wondering about grease on the ring and pinion. should i grease it?

You can if you have some lying around, but it's not necessary.

tallyram, I allways put grease on the ring and pinion just to be safe.

thanks for the input jason! i'll probably need more setup help as i've never owned a buggy. i'm used to working on my crt so i'm sure i'll have to figure out how to get the most out of this buggy. i'm taking my ninja bo1a .21 out of the truggy and putting it into the xb8. do you think i'll be happy? when i took my picco .28 out of the truggy and put in the ninja my lap times instantly got lower! i should be ok. btw, i met a factory driver on thanksgiving day in tallahassee,fl and was wondering if that might have been you.
