shock foam insert

Hi!
I have a question: what does it effect if i leave the foam inserts out of the shock diaphragm? I think that there is a lower rebound, but what would this effect?

Without the foam you will have less rebound which gives more chassis roll = more traction.

Alex, have you tested high and low rebound dampers in a direct comparison? The reason why I´m asking is that I thought I have learned on this forum that more rebound gives more traction. Now I´m confused...

Hi

from what i understand when you use the foam insert it gives you more rebound which means you will get a much quicker shock action when the car is cornering making the car roll less if you dont have the foam insert in it means the shocks want rebound as fast which means when the car is cornering it will have more roll which will give a little more grip so Hagberg was wright what he was saying hope i have explained it so you understand
