XRAY - Model racing cars

The foamtire hubs are normally used for 10th scale touring wheels and you can find all kind of rims and tires.

The m18t rim size is the same as both the Mini-T/RC18T. So any manufacturer that makes onroad treaded tires for those will work. More than a couple do.

Thanks for your Help guys. I will have to wait for Stormer to get the hub adapters in stock, I would get them straight from Xray but they are about 10.00 more with the shipping than Stormer.

Mini Me - With out using the Adaptors are there any street tires that fit on the Xray wheels? I looked at my LHS and the mini-t and the 18T have smaller wheel diameters and different mounting patterns then the Xray. I think I am limited to my Xray wheel usage. I will definitly be purchaseing the wheel adaptors, I really like the Xray Starburt pattern.

I wonder if would work. They look identical to the ones pictured and I heard they are the same size.

Like Roelof said and showed (that's my M18T ) if you use the hub conversion, the choise of rims and tires is almost unlimited. Any 1:10 size rim with hex mounting will fit. From foam to offroad truggy. The tires shown were only EUR 14,95 a set (4!!!) including rims. They're medium hard rubber and I'm satisfied with these on carpet tracks. Okay, I'm still a rookie. But the pin tires had too much grip and tipped over the car when fast cornering, so did the chevron type MT tires. The hubs will also fit the M18MT...

Sleurhutje, Xrayracer can't get ahold of the axle conversion at this time. This is why he is specifically asking for tires that fit his stock rims.

Mini_Me - Where I just got my MT and I haven't glued the stock tires on yet 'cause I knew that I wanted to change them out. I will order the Duratrax tires that Sog75 posted about. They almost look the same as the Xray tires. Those will fit fit the bill until I can get the Hex Hub adaptors. Then I can fut my Foams on there.



Do you know when the Xray tires will be available worldwide?

The on-roads for only USD 10,95 (actually you can't find them in his eBay shop - - but it's worth a mail). These are Anderson Rally Tires MH-258178.

I made my onroad foamtires from 1/10 touring car and orginal Xray rims, just cutted off the 2 edges on each rim.
