i've got friends who have BL setups in their m18s, but none with an 8000. I have a mini rage 8000 that might go in the one I just bought on ebay. I'll let you know what happens with it.

KingsKID, Just wanted to let you know that Stormer still has some graphite upgrade kits available. it's not the full kit but it has most of the parts that are added to the SE M18 I believe it is only minus the servo saver and 180 heat sink. Hope this helps with your quest..

BULL!

About running brushless and breaking parts...

I've run brushless (and quite a few powerfull brushed...) and the cars hold up very well.

The parts I've broken most often are the outer wheel snapping off which comes from going full speed and then rubbing the side walls of the track which catches something...normal breakage. The same has broken off a knuckle. In both cases this was extreme speed induced. At the Pottbelly's race this year I only broke one wheel all weekend and I did many many runs and the car was punished.

Otherwise these cars are solid and can take a beating.

Hunter I would get the Alum axles and the ball diffs to help hold the power.

Rugzilla- Thanks, that helps me to decide on what motor to use.
I have the mini rage esc and an 8000, and also a quark 4900. Think we'll go large here

That sounds GREAT to me. I will be buying a M18 kit ASAP to put me Brushless in . Looks like the car should hold up real good.

I´m getting into 1/18 world and I wonder If I can buy the M18PRO, but use the traditional Power pack, since in the club the use just 5 cell batteries, and stock motors.

My question is because the 5 cell battery is smaller than the 6 one, so it could be moving inside the battery holder the car or it´s enough held or tied to the car?.

Other question...does the M18PRO comes with the body?

Draven I would buy the stuff by its self if I was you.

The m18 will not be real good out in the street unless it is very smooth the ground clearance is very little.
