If it didn't come with metal universals, I would at least upgrade for front ends with Alu Drive Shaft M18T - Set (2) #385301.

Make sure your diffs have been broken and and are nice and tight *but not locked* with a brushless and lipo. .

Are you street or dirt bashing/speed? You might look at the nickel plated pivot balls.

Lipo wise, thats all personal choice. The main factor is not to get one wider than 34mm in width. Length wise depends on if you have the 6 cell retainer installed. I use a thunderpower 1320 personally as its small and allows me to put electronics in front of it for a low CG. You will have to slightly modify the stock chassis though as their is a few small buttresses that help retain the battery that you need to dremel carefully to give enough room for that particular pack. (No I DONT mean drmel off the chassis side wall, again there are small buttresses on the battery side only.

Do you mean the universals or the front to rear driveshaft? Did you get the ?
