Hi,

I'll let you know when we decide to come over to Canada. I'll try to get Mini a weekend off work so he can come along too.
I'll check with our LHS again but they didn;t have any on order as of two weeks ago and they don't preorder. I still have two 05's and Mini's 04 and a T2 I can race whenever I want too so I'm never without a sedan on raceday.

Subject: T2'007 Ball-bearing Oiling

Several team drivers have indicated that some ball-bearings in the T2'007 kits seem to have been insufficiently oiled, and that this is probably the reason that some of the bearings tend to fail sooner. For this reason, we would like to warn all T2'007 owners to preventively apply any standard ball-bearing oil to all of the ball-bearings.

Mario, good that you mention this problem now.

My 007 had its first roll out yesterday. During the first 3 Packs it was amazingly fast but then one ball-bearing at the central shaft blew up and because of the friction the composite holder melted a bit away. I could replace the bearing an place a new one into the holder but now I'm worried that it might cause problems.

Do you know, if any of those bearing holders were shipped as spare parts?
I would like to order new ones, but if there aren't any available this would make no sence.

Thanks for all the replys it turned out to be my own stupid fault i had put the wrong wheel nuts on i had put the t2 ones on and this is what the cause is :oops:

put the kit 1s on and it was fine :lol:

car sounds amazing and the build quility was just the same the best xray car i have ever built !!!!!!! Well done XRAY

so far over the last 5 months,i have used ali hubs,but i have had at leist 10 of the bearings fail,is this because they are smaller? it cant be bad luck i have had too many fail? can any of the team let me know?
