My car is real twitchy. I have my steering turned down to -30%. What could make it this way. If I turn my steering up very much more, it is very hard to drive. I need to settle the car down. I have the TQ front end.

Roll ctr(0ft 0rear) Kick-up(1up 1dn) Arms long front & rear.
3degree rear toe.

Lol, I'll see if I can help Twigs. Shock oils look good, what pistons and springs?

With a thicker center diff oil, you will have to drive "on top" of the car more which makes it feel real twitchy. Try 5-4-4 cps (Mugen or OFNA oils), or 3-3-5. 3-3-5 is real easy to drive where 5-4-4 is easy to drive but gives you more on power steering.

Just for kicks, what ackermann position are you running? Run it in the center hole, and if you want to calm it down a little more go to the forward hole.

Are you using the orings in the diffs? Take them out. I suggest you post your complete setup on the setup sheet section so we can take a look at it.

Also, if you are running zero bushings in the roll center you need to run zero bushings in the kickup (or vice versa) as well or you will bind the suspension and possibly break the upper arm.

Oops, I am running the roll center & the kick up the same. (0's all around).
I just changed all that. My set up sheet sheet is at home, as I am trying to remember it at work. I do not run the o-rings in the diffs. I do run soft compound tires.

Do you have it online in the XRAY setup sheet database? What is the link?

Dropping the diff oils down will help the car as Adam recomended.

How much toe out in the front are you running. Toe out is the light switch for twitchyness. Make sure you are running no more than 1 degree. 1.5-2.0 is a handful. good luck.

Twigs, the roll center chart is in the other thread you had started about breaking upper arms. Check your bearings in the front if you are ballooning one tire, something's not right.

To much toe out will make it snap and whip around. I run 1 deg and no more, forward hole on the acermann plate with the bump steer shimmed out (almost completely).

Yes you shouldn't balloon one tire unless maybe in a turn. If you are ballooning on one side on a straightaway then there is something wrong like ajoiner said. Check wheel bearings, binding, and the diff.

I am using the stock antirollbars. I am thinking the center diff oil should be dropped a little.
