XRAY - Model racing cars

I have an RB modded Axe Rossi LSK and a Fusion Motorsports plus215 Hot Mod and I'm really happy with both of the engines. The Nova engine helped me get a 4th place overall finish in Expert Arean Truck at Round 4 of the RC Pro Series in Tampa this past weekend. If you haven't tried a mod engine I can recommend these two modifiers without any questions at all.
Triple D they don't test each engine to my knowledge. I watched my RB mod get done at the RC Pro Series earlier this year. He took it apart, asked me what I wanted, did the mod and put it back together (took about an hour to do the work). After that I was told to break it in normally ( I heat cycle my engines and then run them rich the first 5 tanks before turning them loose ).
No issues at all and my fuel milage is insane (I get over 9 minutes a tank in my CRT with my Axe). I haven't timed the plus215 yet but I think it will be close to that as well.
Power delivery is as smooth as silk so you can get on the power early and often. I would question though whether more peak power is actually on tap as opposed to more overall power under the curve. I feel it is the later of the two.
I'm glad I made the investment.

Does anyone know if it was still possible to mod an engine that has been broken in and has passed the gallon mark? Do you still have to break-in the engine after or just run it?

RB Mods will do a motor that has all been run,,, after the mod just run it,,, you will have to tune it...

yes..rick does a awesome job...I have several motors with his mods...let me tell you...the mods are the extreme mods...he has several types of different type of mods..torque is great and the top end is wicked fast...but great on mileage...power band is smooth...and it doesnt load up that bad and while at idle like some other modded motors....check him out hell be glad to help you out in any way that he can...oh by the way I have the max m8 & the m5b done by him both with ceramic bearings which he did too...

What type of plugs are you using? How many gallons do they have in them. I'm interested in getting my P5X modified by RB mods to basically tame my low end and get a lil more on the top. Would it even be worth doing?

well that all depends on your climate...Here in hawaii it can get humid so I run a c5s or the mc59...depends on what the lhs has..but I do know that rick recomends the c5s for his engines...to me I like the mod engines..it may take sometime to get use to the grunt and speed..but once you got it and know how to use it its always there waiting to be unleashed...
