Activ Diff

so from what i am reading would this active diff be in the front then? it sounds like something that i am going to have to buy as i hate "blippin" the throttle.

If you run a active diff in the front would this mean that you would have to roll into a corner? :?:

I'd doubt it, you should be able to dive into a corner hard and let the active diff pull the front of the car around and through the corner.

It would require precise throttle control, but not much more than it takes to pilot your XB8 flawlessly

Who cares about the technical term for it, Xray is calling it an Active diff, if it was a 2 way or 1 way or LSD, they would call it the Xray 2 Way, ect. Turn off Gran Turismo and read my post and notice what the first 8 words which are: "One of the possibilities [and emphasis on this part] (which I'm hoping for)"

This means I hope the diff would do this, which would allow you to do the things I went on to discuss with the other racers past the 8th post in the 2 page thread which you brought back up...

Moving on. The coolest diff I've ever seen was a Kawahara diff for the rear of the RR Kyosho nitro onroad car. It was a regular diff that used oil, but also had a two shoe clutch on it that would work like the clutch coming off the motor, so when youre coming in and in the middle of a turn it was a regular diff and as you came out it would tighten/lock up giving you more steering from the rear. This was the Kawahara LSD and it was quite cool. It would just be hard getting this in the limited space for the diffs....

I do use the bbf diffs in my car, they are amazing... But I do hate to maintain them all the time... I do hope that the new xray diff will be easier to maintain...
