XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi guys,

The lower suspension arms of the TQ are thick, strong but need extra filing. With F & R susp arms drop to lowest position and mount as per the instructions, the spring retainers bind with the lower arms, the front is quite unacceptable. I have to file to fit as shown:




If this binding happens to you also, would you consider this as a problem in production? What happens if I broke one of the arms at the race? Takes too much time with dremel.

Thx for that, I need to cancel the hard arms order right away.

I have always wondered why XRAY or some aftermarket manufacturer has not made a front A-arm that allows for full droop and full steering throw without modification.

There is plenty of room for more front droop and more steering in the XB8. The front arms are simply too beefy in certain areas to allow it.

It seems to me to be a poor design where the limiting factors of the front droop and steering throw currently are on the car. Of course I dremeled mine as well but I don't think I should have to do it.

Well, I usually switch major plastic parts every 2 races, I guess they are fine to me. Thx for the advise!
