XRAY - Model racing cars

hi geezatec,

i have tryd almost everything i could think of, richened everything , leaned everxthing nothing would work. couldnt even set my iddle.
after all we have taken it appart( dealer here in germany where i bought it) the problem is solved , getting new engine parts.( Piston,bushin, conection rod
a small peace of dust came through the carburator into the piston. this made it happend to loose compression. thats y i couldnt set the engine anymore.
the couse is tha airfilter. had a view flipovers and the airfilter foam was moved outer position.
so guys if u realy go offroad (on a dusty track) make sure u take care of ure airfilter. ( i have to thing of a better way to solve that problem)

THAT TEACH US ALL, how important the air filter functions. After Washing the filter & which way you reinstall it. Good you got it goin' again, assuming you had to replace the piston & sleeve.

jupp, had to get that. but they made a good price . not waranty (sry dont know the english word) but i only payd half a price. now im thinking of something like the sinter filter in the tank. but i have to wayt till i get the parts so i know what sice i would need. im not sure how it will work, but its worth a try.
after all im very happy with the little truck. have not broken a part exept the plastic cvds. the only upgrade im running are the Aloy Cvds. they work good. next to upgrade will be the wheel bearings. ( maybe ill upgrade them all) to sealed bearings. couse i have noticed that the wheel bearing start grinding after a while playing in the dirt. i have washed them out and set them into very thin oil for about 1 hour. they worked like new again. there is realy no way to compare to a 1:8 scale buggy ore truggy but this thing is an awesome produkt.
I will keep u update with the airfilter.
