Would some one please explain the differences between these two and there general effects on handling? I have reda the set up guide and th theory as explained withthe Set -up system.

I checked out your setup sheet. Just a few observations:

*I've never seen anyone run the shocks mounted in the positions you are running, but if it works for you...stick to it.
*If you need to gain a little mid-corner steering, I would lengthen the front camber link to the outer hole on the upright or use a 0 bushing for the front roll center (0 in the tower, and .5 down in the rear upper arm mount).

That should definitely help. Good luck.

Rich I appreciate you taking a look at things As it turns out I do not run my shocks in those positions either. OOPS...GIGO. This is the revised.Set -up. I sounds like you are saying raise the Front roll center and angle the upper arm down a bit in the rear. Should I change the Kick up to match the new angle? Kick up is one of the things I had thought about but have yet to play with. I have thought that getting a bit more weight to the front off power would help.

No problem.

I don't think you need to change your kick-up setting, it should be good the way it is. As far as getting more weight to transfer to the front, when you are in the middle of a corner you are more than likely on-power. If anything, to gain more steering you would limit or slow the transfer to the rear.

Hope that helps.

concerning in-board toe-in
when we put some inboard toe-in, we get less wheelbase, giving more degrees to the rear driveshafts, so we put more weight to the rear of the buggy, the diff being more to the rear, versus the rear axle.

Also during driving inboard, toe-in varies with the rolling of the chassis: being at the max, the chassis being flat, and less during rolling

concerning outboard toe-in things are easier : nothing changes or varies during driving

Result : change inboard toe-in to change the reactions of the buggy and add outboard toe-in to get the desired total degree of 2,5 to 3,5 .

in short, inboard toe-in at minimum gives a more forgiving car at high speeds, in quick chicane changes, gliding is more easy.
In reverse , inboard toe-in at his max tends to render the car better setlled when accelearting and gives a bit more traction driving on slow and sliding tracks, and gives much directional power in the big curves but beware of the rear, steering the buggy…
or min inboard : better at high speeds, max inboard : better at low speeds
