yes they will be running it tomarrow. they're mixing electric 1/8th wityh gas 1/8. and qualifing was today but from what i understand you can still regester tomarrow due to the low turnout. this is my first 1/8 scale race and i have to say this is extremely fun. oh on a side note bring some tires with big lugs (you could almost get away with badlands.) because it is very loose. kind of like racing in a sand dune. it's pretty trecherous also due to the large jump in the middle. well hope to see you out there.

i found panther komodo dragon 2 in medium soft to be the best tire to use in the Barn . . not much success with the crimefighters as you mentioned the track is loamy

i was getting by with the crimes but it was quite a challenge. i tq'd the first qualifier and placed second in the second one. you really just have to feather the throttle or else you're on the pipes. i idled a lot of the course. in this case slow was fast lol.

they pretty much gut 1/8 scale buggies and put powerful brushless motors and usually li-po batteries in them. it sounds pretty stupid but they are very quick. and with good li-po batts and brushless systems they can run long mains.
