XRAY - Model racing cars

Personally, I use the +2mm hubs in the back of the car. It's just another thing to do to make the car more stable and easier to drive.

Do you use any thing wider up front, or just the 2mm in the back. Do you think it affects the steering any. I would tend to think that it should make it a little better in the steering department.

I can't drive a car that pushes, so to get the most steering I can, I run the front end as narrow as possible.
The most basic thing for width is the wider you make the more stable it is, and I just don't want my car to be too wide in the front and make it so stable that it won't steer like I want it to.
But in short, making it wide in the front, will make it a little easier to drive, but you will get more steering if you narrow it up, but it will just a little 'edgy'.

Thanks Rocco. Do you feel that the XB8 is a little more narrow than the other top buggies to begin with? I seems to be shorter as I have compared it to many of them, but I have not really looked at the width as closely.

On the track it looks much smaller than the other buggies, but I think alot of it is how close the body hugs the buggy making it seem less beefy even though it is not.
