I wouldn't put the composite diffs down so fast. It is quite likely that you will see T2 drivers run the composite diffs as well as I think they will be significantly ligther. A lighter drive train is a more efficient drive train. :D

What about durability of those diffs?

I have seen diffs constructed of similar material and they melt after few runs due to high power!

thats what my concern is. a small amount of diff slip and heat is produced causing maybe these outputs to distort.they maybe lighter and therefor faster to accelerate but as xray have said its for the racer whos not looking for the 10ths of a second quicker, we need more durability and reliability.alloy outputs will obviously be more durable!!ianp

:D so why all other brands include composite diffs in kits as standard?

If you have the budget and you want best of the best then the T2 is the ultimate answer. If you want the premium quality for very affordable price then the T2R is answer.

Apart from composite differentials (btw. - are both of them ball diffs?) I noticed the following differences between the T2 and T2R:

- composite hex`es,
- not all chassis stiffenning posts are included (I think 4 are missing - one has to buy them separately if additional stiffening of the chassis (multi-flex) is needed,
- glass fiber chassis (upper and lower deck) instead of carbon,


ARE THERE ANY OTHER DIFFERENCES between the two models?
