it was mentioned on here to a few days ago!

one thing to consider when using a rigid front brace is that you will probably lose some steering :!:

Tell your friend there is no need to wait for the new parts. The knuckles are super strong and they cost next to nothing to replace. I have yet to strip one. The ONLY thing I would like to see changed are the eccentric bushings made out of metal instead of plastic and that is just for piece of mind. I have had my hingepin go through one of the bushings but it's only happened once. Other than that the car is bullet proof. I've been racing it for about 2 months now and we have one race left in our Series which I am winnning! Get the car he won't be sorry.

I have one more suggestion for the XB8 engineers to think about. Could they possibly come up with some aftermarket parts to make the car heavier. On some days I wish my car was heavier, I understand you can add weights but it sure would be nice to add factory parts on it to add weight when wanted or needed. The car is extremely light and I feel somedays it could benefit from some added weight. Just something to think about.

What do youmean factory parts to make it heavier??? Steel shock towers?

Tungsten drive shafts?

In no way would they improve performance. The quality and strength of the provided components is great..and their light weight alows you to add weight if you like nice and low on the chassis further lowering the cars center of gravity and letting you position it where it will best suit the car's inertia...

i may sound noobish but why would you want it heavier? in mt racing we are always trying to go lighter, the lighter the better, why would u want heavier?

Yes I would like the option to make the car heavier without giving it much thought when I want to. The reason I said factory parts is because they would know where to put the weight and it still would look good. Maybe a heavier chassis or something to that effect. I have owned several different buggies and I do feel that they were easier to drive at times do to the weight issue. Having said that I think I do have this car figured out for the most part.
How many of you carry weights in your tool boxes? If so what types of weights do you use? Where would you place them? With factory parts it will take out some of the guess work. What happens when it's windy the heavier cars at my track have a definate advantage in the air. That's the reason I would want the car to be heavier at times.
