Novarossi Plus 21-5?

I've been breaking it in and so far I just have 24 tanks through it so I don't really know what else to expect from it. So far it's showing alot of torque similar or maybe even better than the P5. Does anyone have experience with this motor?

I decided to switch from the JP-2 to the Novarossi 9886 with the short header and I am overly pleased with the results. With more than a gallon run through it I can defenitely see the top end speed of the S421BX and a little more bottom end than the P5X. This defenitely is the next gen P5! :shock:

I also consider this engine, but I've heard someone said something about the bearings breaking. I dont believe this very much though, as it is a novarossi.

i'm on my 1 1/2 gallon and so far so good. you won't be dissapointed.

Seen 4 people have trouble with these locally. Anyone else having problems with either the +21-5 or the Hot Mods version? The ones I've seen give people trouble are the Hot Mods, not much life out of them.

Just as long as you get it to 200 degrees it should be fine. I found that the RB#6 plug was the best one for it. Since the pinch is sooO tight, it defenitely takes more than a gallon for the Hott Mod to run without problems. It likes to run slightly rich on the bottom and two turn in on the top. I'm running a 9886 pipe. Hope this helps.
