XRAY - Model racing cars

Here in Denmark its still winter (meaning snow) so can´t drive mine yet. so I have started to upgrade mine with alle the hop ups I can find that x-ray have.( I only useoriginal xray parts)
Installed 2 composit balldiffs and ran in to a binding problem. It seams that there no longer are any tolerans betwen the crown and beawel gear.
it looks like that the crown gear has a too large diameter so it bottom out on the other gear.have any body of you tryed the same? I thing it might just needs to be run in, or I have to reduce the dia. on the crown gear.
the problem exist in both front and rear.its only very littel but enugh to make noise that sounds like not good ajusted pinion/spur gear.
have anybody of you tryed the same ?

yes I have 2 Authentic XRAY Ball-diff installed (the composit ones)

they was all new bought them at your distributer dirctly from you
distributer in his store.

It was prebuild ones I installed them directly in the car
out of the bag.

have done alle the mesurments. (I´m an ariplane teknician)
at the lab at my work. my results Is that its the same as the spide.

have already tryed all of your sugestion. and still havent found af fault in any of the parts.
seams to mee like the gear on the diff are to thick and creats the bind.

I´ll return soon with more results I´m going to mesure the gear mesh

Hm. Then I suggest you go to RCmodel who has been running the M18 actively and they will be for sure able to help you. All the parts coming from the same mould so I believe the problem you face is some individual problem somewhere in the assembly or in some other part.

I´m enjoying the car now its awsome cant wait until I get my hands on the nt18t as well. this size car is awsome.

But it´s alittel hard on the foam tiers, what shore are the front that was supplyed with the car?

I´m using shore 40 now but would realy like shore 45 or 50, anybody know if beeing made in that hard?
