Look at this item in the FK05 FAQ section for the recommended spur/pinion range by chassis:

According to the "chart" I should use an 84 with my 2mm chassis but Mike Dumas used an 87 with his.

That's the reason I asked. Is there any advantage to him using the larger spur?

P.S. His setup sheet states that he used a 2mm chassis.

Here's the track we'll be racing on to give you some what of an idea. The cones are about 2 ft. tall for reference.

Hi ,

I have seen on a picture of Jilles Groskamp his FK05 that he did not use the screws that hold the front bumper to the chassis. Is it to prevent damage to the chassis?

This is the picture.

I have hit somebody who had mist a corner and came on the end of the straight. My upper bumper broke and the 3 screws pulled through the chassis. A piece of upper layer of the chassis has come of wich make the holes larger.I want to gleu the piece back on and not use the screws.

Hmmm, never noticed that. I think he probably just forgot to put them in. But I would think that this will work pretty well. In a hard crash the bumper would be dislodged but without the screws the stress on the chassis would be much less. The bumper top plate would probably break so having one or two of those for spare will probably be a good idea if you run this way.
