Also make sure there is some side play on the layshaft as ball bearings are not designed to cope with lateral pressure. Also make sure you have the Alu Rear Bulkhead Brace mounted between the rear bulkheads to keep them straight.

Layshaft checked. OK - no bent found. This one has been check during the first bearing replacement.

I will try to check the side play tonite. Shall I put 0.5mm on it? or less?

Anything between 0.2 and 0.5mm is ok. Don´t go over 0.5.
