Hehehehehe, as you may know my M18 is already heavy modified and it will get indeed an aloy chassis and a fast and powerful engine.





The clutch is completly homemade by a friend. The gearing will be 36 spur and 35 pinion

But I had some ideas making my own exhaust but this part is making me very easy to buy one

one of my m18 are heavily modded as well..

but im interested to see your blueprints or schematics for the throttle linkage with that particular engine..

here s the picture of my NT18 exhaust after i had welded up from the header pipe by a local welder cost $30 CAN

sorry guys the image kinna blur camera isnt high quality but as u can see had it TIG weld just around the neck of the resinator so gives it more rigidity so far so good exhaust still intact.

here's what I did.
read through entire instructions prior to modifying anything! =P

Find the extra parts bag. Locate the screw circled in the picture.

Now mark and drill a small hole just a tad smaller than the screw from the parts bag.

Pick up some alu Tubing just large enough to slide over the screw from your lhs. Make sure it's somewhat thick.

Notice how thick the exhaust wall is where you drilled through it! Lots of meat to thread a screw into!. Cut the alu tubing into a spacer just wide enough
to fit between the chassis and the exhaust where you drilled the hole.

now thread the screw into the exhaust through the spacer between the exhaust can and the chassis. The exhaust is very thick, and if you used the right size drill bit, the screw will not strip out even if you tighten the screw down very hard! This is a perfect fix, and doesn't leak since the exhaust is so thick and so many screw threads are stopping any leaking action.

IF by chance it does leak at all, you can seal it off with loc-tite or JB weld at the exhaust where the screw enters and then re-thread the screw into the wet liquid and let it set. It shouldn't leak once you've done it right! (mine didn't require loc-tite or jb weld to seal... it doesn't leak just as it is!)


Enjoy =) This is a very study way to mount the exhaust. I even tried to lightly kick the exhaust when I Set the car on the ground, and nothing happened =)

most digital cameras have a feature that lets you select from a normal picture to a mountain shaped far view picture and then to a flower shaped close up picture mode. You want the flower shaped thing... that usualy indicates the "macro feature" is turned on. Most nikons have this anyways. Both of mine do (950 and 885 coolpix models)
