What is the difference in the tq set now and the xb8? I broke several parts this weekend and need several new front parts?

Im woundering the samething too. I heard that the xb8-tq is going to be released this month sometime and i'm ready to buy one, either that or the xb8.

I'm new to the modern 1/8th game, and chose the XB8R and I'm very very impressed with it. It's a budget kit yet hasn't had any corners cut at all really, and for probably most clubman racers like myself, it seems ideal, with an upgrade path should I decide that I would like some more adjustability...

I love mine, it's a really cool peice of kit, which has injected some much needed enthusiam back in for the sport of model car racing

It's makes my MP5 and MP6 International (the last time I raced 1/8th back in 1997-8) seem like very poor, cheap relatives.

Top car, with some very clever, well thought out, down to earth engineering in it IMO

i dont mean to "knock" the new TQ, but it woulda been nice if they came out with a buggy with some thing diffrent about it, like more steering :wink:

...instead of coming out with a buggy with almost all the hop-ups on it, since basically every who has a XB8, or XB8r has almost all of those hop-ups

just my 2 cents :wink:
