XRAY - Model racing cars

my car was perfectly dialed with the stock plastic chassis, but, in an effort to further improve performance, i swapped all of my bits to an Xray graphite chassis and when i fired the car up it wanted to go right badly, as if the trim was waay off. this was under slight power too, or a roll; the car just was not centered.

previously, w/ the plastic chassis, i had the steering tie rod screwed perfectly lengthwise so at "0" trim on my radio it would track straight, and along with that, the front wheels definately looked like they were straight.

well, to correct this new found problem with the steering and my graphite chassis, i screwed the tie rod more so it was shorter to take out the right-bound attitude. now it tracks straight, but the wheels are slightly c0cked to the left.

What could be causing this?

the wheels are on properly, nothing wobbly out of the ordinary, the droop screws are all out to assure it's all uniform, the suspension is equal from left to right...the front diff is almost as tight as it can be (Xray ball diff) and the rear is somewhere in the middle of the loose-tight range, possibly closer to loose.

it's assembled properly.

Mind you the car went straight before the conversion.

any ideas? i've gone thru this thing all nite and i'm at a loss. i am very close to taking this chassis off...it's been a royal pain in the a$$ since i opened the package.

Lay the chassis on a table to see if it lays flat. Also make sure your shocks having accidently dropped into the other adjustment hole on one side when you switched chassis.

thanks for the response. it's slotted. as per your suggestion, i redid the torque sequence of the gear boxes, tho initially i did the star pattern anyway, an old automotive habit i guess ; )

i did adjust the droop screws to compensate for the tweak and it has indeed made it so my front wheels can now be straight for the car to track straight.

is this normal practice for these chassis? i was pretty surprised because the chassis was flat before it was assembled and my plastic chassishadno such issue.
