XRAY - Model racing cars

It is of course standard that when using solid axle in front it transfers huge load on the plastic drive shaft blades which wear much faster than with one-way or diff. The composite drive shaft blades are consumable parts and should be replaced based on the individual wear.

!! YEAH !!

I had my first trackday (correction morning) outdoor on rubber with the T2. I was declared an idiot because it was -6 degr. celsius and later it started to snow

But i had 2,5 dry runs on Sorex 24 tires and was very very impressed by the car. I did a direct comparison to a FK'05 and had more steering and after some adjustments a more stable car.
The corrections I did had a more predictable outcome than I had with the '05. So Xray compliment for the improvements.

BTW: I started with the setup of . As Darren said the car pushed a little which I solved with 1 mm less downstop front and rear and 1 degrees less rear toe in.

And in the heavy snow in my last run (unchanged setup) I was impressed by the stability and the car was much better than the '05.

Tomorrow is cleaning and rebuild day

Published my and must be honest. I changed more to Darren's setup than I thought

last friday was my first time out with the T2. i just started racing electric sedan the beginning of this year but started out with a used car from another brand. so basically, the T2 is my very first new electric car!
all i can say is that it was all worth the switch to the T2. the car drives very good with the basic setup. my lap times are lower but not as low as my nitro car yet because all i've run is a 19T so far. i guess a 7T will help me catch my nitro time

Just to give my feedback on the first track day with my new T2.
Have to say that X-Ray team has designed and released a superb car both on material’s quality as on overall design and drivability.
Every single piece on it runs smoothly giving a unique driving feedback, not to mention that’s very responsive even with the factory "initial" settings. Bottom line, I'm SO happy to own and drive this car. Thanks X-Ray team and keep up your passionate work.
