Any suggestions on getting rid of all the play in the front.

The steering has more play than i'd like. .5mm - 1mm of play.

I.E. when I move the front tires side to side.

Seems "funny" that a rubberband is needed to help the steering? Is there no way to fix the problem without a "bubblegum" fix?

Having play in the steering is normal. However, if you have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) like me, then I understand.

I use shock o-rings in between all the links and whatever they're mounted to (servo horn, servo saver, steering blocks). Just make sure the ones used on both ends of the steering rods are somewhat soft and not too large/stiff, where they bind up the up/down suspension movement.

I'm only running a standard servo at the moment (3003) but there seems to be play in the servi itself rather than anywhere in the linkages

What casues the "play"? Is it the servo saver? The steering links?

Me personally. I noticed mine from both, more so from the Servo Saver. I did have to make sure that the screw was tight enough, and still it had play.
