With respect to the CVD inner pins, when using these type pins I make it a standard practice to cut a small groove around the center of the pin to capture the grub screw. Since doing this I've never had the problem again. Make sure that you don't make it deep enough to destroy the integrity of the pin and don't overtighten the grub screw enough to bend the pin.

Calvin...are you suggesting modifying a part to make it work? How dare you, that voids the warranty! hahahah J/k. Seriously, though, this would not have been a problem with the original driveline design (pins captured by inner race of the bearing). The original integral hex-hub is a much better design anyway.

True, but going to the smaller bearings, which is more or less dictated by the new hub design, pretty well negates this possibility without an inovative redesign. Like you, I liked the old design much better with respect to this feature.
