Well I kinda got very frustrated and took to them with side cutters I know my bad! oops There in the bin in about 1000 pieces!

The car is new, Yeah already been over the manual and can pull the thng apart and put back together very easily now

I would download it, unzip it and rebuild your car so you can understand how it goes together."

What I basically mean is that If I put abit of pressure on either diff front or back it seems very week, the gears inside don't lock tight they give and slip. Although it may be like that to stop the car from breaking when under pressure.

"All I can suggest is buy a set of replacement Inner Wheel Adapters, and use the rim type you like. The mRS4 rims selection do fit btw. If you go through some of the rides here posters have shown, you will see plenty of mrs4 wheels."

Tonight I pulled out my RS4 and M18 and found that the ends of the drive shafts can be swapped with my RS4 ones meaning that the wheels should bolt straight on sweeet, Am i correct?

bzzzzzzz I was Incorrect! The M18's are longer for the bearing to sit around so nope doesn't work.

I would look into avidrc.com for bearings... don't pay boca prices.

I didn't notice that Avid supplied ceramic bearings, which is what m18boyz is looking for. In the interest of saving money, Avid is a good supply house, but if you need ceramics at a cheaper price than Boca, try Acerracing.com. Thier ceramic kits are $89 a set, for ANY car.

edit : I noticed Acer does not have a set put together for he M18 YET! But I sent them an email requesting that they get something together for us. I'll keep everyone posted.

There is absolutely no need for the Xray wheels to fit so tightly. I use the Micro RS4 black wheels. they fit 100X better than the Xray wheels; in fact, one of my Xray wheels cracked from being SO tight before i ever ran the car! The Xray wheels can not-so-easily be removed, but removed nonetheless, if squeezed where slot ridges aren't and the hubs seem like they will bust off, but they won't. Easier solution is to just run said RS4 wheels- more styles, easier fit. The M18 is amazing, however, this particular aspect needs to be reviewed.



As far as differentials, Xray does offer composite balls diffs for half the price of the alloy units. I use them front and rear. They work great and offer proper adjustability. I've heard good things about the durability of these vs. the hard-coated ones.
