FYI, Xray included neither the strap OR the foam tires.

The foam tires were a gesture from RCAmerica and CanWestRC.

I don’t think I would have paid more for the kit. My wife kind of freaked about me buying the kit and a new Airtronics M11 on the same order. I don’t think I will be making any more large R/C purchases for a while.. as far as she knows anyway.

Well, even though this poll isn't about cost, I would have thrown a couple dollars (not $35) in for the kit to include a strap.

willhillis, I rarely go to the hobby shop and spend less than what your order was! Heck, it costs me $435 extra to get servo, receiver, speed control, and rebuild a motor. Can't forget about batteries either....But, I'm not married either and my GF races too, so that helps in the understanding department.
