Nowhere. They are still just a twinkle in some engineers eye.

I came up with this (because it would still allow quick shock adjustment versus having to unscrew anything).

A: A new front and rear shock mount via new bumper and stock chassis that has a area to screw in a partial "c" clamp for the shock bottoms. "C" because then you could still pop them off to use the other holes. (They could offer that c clamp mount for the xray graphite chassis separate).

Negative: Requires new chassis for stock users, and at least a new front bumper and shock holder for aftermarket.

Well, the clampthing can also be made as an optionpart to screw on top of the current holes


By the way, maybe the balls on the lower suspension arms has something to do with the oil fillesd shocks....

I think I remember something specifically at some point that those are for sway bars (on the arm).

The problem with yours and Penquins method is of course you loose any adjustment via changing the shock angle. That and you shift more outboard weight, so the car leans more (I realize is only a tiny bit with the stock dampeners, but oils would make this more apparent).

Also, wouldnt you run into the same problem? Thicker oil, with decompression too quickly with the shocks acting too slow, the shock balls might fall out of the upper holes. Especially a bumpy on-road track.

As I did write before, some diff greese is working perfect so far as you can see on the video. Using lighter springs or a stiffer dampening could give me the same problem.

But mounting like these can give you a shocktower like a 10th scale car with more optional mountings, no need to use the ballcups.

GPM is already making threaded aluminum shocks ... oil filled. Asia Tee's has 'em in stock

I wonder if those shock will be as good as the ones GPM was making for micro RS4. I had couple of sets of RS4 shocks from GPMs x-shock system and I converted them to use on my M18. Then I ordered new shocks they have for mini-z. Major difference is lack of bladders inside shock cups.
