What for? have you driven 415 before? They are not more stable than T1FK. I'm just thinking of more worldwide Xray factory drivers would benefits them for more solid teamworks.

Compare with TRF414 & T1, the basic prototype has a little bit the same.
And now TRF415 is a new design, TRF415 has a lower CG, I suggest that Xray can try to lower the CG.

Since that i haven't driven TRF415, but the design of TRF415 is good.
This is my option, sorry that I talk Tamiya car in this forum :oops:

The guys at the worlds were running some new pieces. New bulkheads, Top Plate, Chassis and who knows what else. I was told they are were working on new pieces. Now the worlds are over maybe I can find out exactly what pieces will be new.

Don't be disappointed with the Xray or their efforts at the worlds.

Xray had more cars in the top 20 than any other manufacturer, just unfortunately failed to make top 10.

The car is just as fast as any other, and for those of us running carpet this winter... its still the fastest car around.

Hi all,
As for the result from the WC let me share some impression with you. If you see the first 20 position you see that a lot of X ray, almost all the team have done the B final, from one side this may sound disappointing, from another side it looks like 4 o 5 X ray drivers were very close to do the A.
I'm not so sure that the issue was the car setup, seems like all the team was just a little bit off the pace. I've thought at it and I'm pretty sure that something wrong with motor/batteries/transmission combination could be happened.
I'm afraid that the big and heavy bearings supporting the wheel axels drags more power than any other car.
You know at that level of racing every little bit counts, expecially on a long fast tracks like this one in Florida.
We have to admit that the T1 trasmission is probably the less efficent compared to Tamiya, HPI and Associated, and from the photo we have seen they added a belt tensioner, two more rolling bearings!
I saw with my eyes at the Euros at Lostallo Jilles lose the title by Juho because he was slower on the long straight..
That's my point..

Too bad... at the end, winner takes all..

About the belt tensioner, yes totally I agree with you. They design the T1FK with eccentric bearing tensioner but I find it unbelieve for factory guys to add belt tensioner (=another drag) on such an important race.
