XRAY - Model racing cars

I have to say wow. First big race with the T2 and such an achievement! What I was told, the crowd was just amazed by the performance of the brand new car and the team was really extremely happy with the car's performance and easy handling. Just imagine that with no previous experience, no time for tuning or testing, first time out with just a basic set-up and some of the best times were turned easily in such highly competitive crowd. And Jilles even got the first car just few days before the race! A notice - all the T2 cars run were out-of-the-box.

The TQ set by Martin is simply a stunning result. In the finals Martin was so close to the overall win - in the last run he had starting position at the very end of the field and had to fight through the whole crowd. He had to win the final run to have 4 total wins which would secure him the overall win - it seemed like mission impossible, but Martin with his T2 almost did it. After some heavy traffic Martin got to the 4th position and then moved to the 2nd position in the last round. If there was one more lap he could do it and win, which would secure him overall 1st position.

But still the overall 2nd position + TQ and 3rd position for Jilles is an excellent result for Team XRAY and the all-new T2. Congratulations to all.

I think I speak for the majority of the xray "family" but at this point we don't care about the setup, we WANT the car :)

Looking at the pictures of Jilles' car from the World cup, is it my imagination, odd lighting, or has Xray gone back to the 'Duraluminum' coating similar to on the orginal T1 and Evo2 cars with the T2??

looks like same colour as reflection on the transponder mount!
