Factory Kit Diff broken??

Hi,

I wanted to check to see if anybody else has experienced the same misfortune that I did with my FK diff? I had installed a FK diff int eh front instead of the included one way and I have had it in the car for about 2 weeks until tonight when I was tightening it the outdirve just broke! :cry:

Now, I have had Xray sedans for the past 4 plus years and I have never seen this issue before.

I do understand that the FK diffs are lightened, but I hope not to the detriment of durability.

Anybody else?

the new diffs are stronger and lighter than the previous version, i may have had a hair line crack that if you hit something made the situation worse. but i find this strange because xray has high quality standards. i bought 4 factory kits and didn't have any problems and i put every kit parts under a magnifying glass to look for such things. hope this helped
