Alternate shells for XB8??

i think i'll try fitting a genuine Mugen MBX5 body on my XB8 when it arrives as i think it looks quite a bit better than the crowdpleazer :roll:

the 777 shell is quite good looking & so is the Thunder Tiger EB4 S2 shell!

what do people think are the Best looking shells out there & how well would they fit onto the XB8??

J-Concepts makes a body for the MBX5 that should fit.

i got an unused but painted MBX5 body off a friend so i cut that out to fit my XB8 & i think the lines of the shell suit the car a bit better than the crowdpleazer :wink:

imaxx21 are those MBX5 shocks you're using? what didn't you like about the XRAY shocks?
mine feel silky smooth so far!

BLADESTER ,YOU ARE THE MAN! i havent got the bod yet but i think ill get it tomorrow. hey just so you know i tried my Kyosho 7.5 body on the hyper 7 and it worked. was the 7.5 body one of those you said you was selling for $8? i cant remember?

if so i have a bunch of guys at the track that want some -especially SLIM. let me know. also to keep my body from getting scratched inside where it rubs ,is there a better way than using duct tape on those areas? and i will be sending you some pics for shure. i just cant seem to get them to download on the forum? can you PM me and let me know how to do this? I was looking at your price compare () on the body you guys painted versus the overly priced version from someone else. That is freakin awesome work, gonna have to get you to paint me up something real soon, I am sold!!!

Just so you know this KEMAL- Blade is one of the best people to deal with. these guys are cool as $hit. havent met them in person but hope i will? you just cant ask for better service and communcation. just the service alone is worth more than going any where else. wow- do i have a brown nose yet or what :lol:

I tell you what, that MBX5 looks HOT!! There are a couple at my track and they are fast and stable.

That was my first choice of Buggys until the XRAY. I hope I made the Correct choice?? If not Ill have a XB8 for sale.
