Gritty FK05 bearings- advice pse

Dear team X ray/fellow X ray drivers

Has anyone else found some of the the brand new FK05 kit main hub bearings noisy and gritty? 3 out of 8 of mine are 'rough' right out of the packet and do not spin like the others. ( All my T1R bearings were excellent at assembly).

Can I fix this... I would welcome any simple practical advice. I have not taken an X Ray blue shielded bearing apart before . It doesn't look easy to do without damaging them and they are not cheap items.

I have had some bearings like that a few times myself. But, after running them for a pack or two they get seated and are just as smooth as the others. So unless the bearings are really not turning you should not have any problems with them.

If after driving with them for a while doesn't fix it you could flush them with kerosene, this will get rid of any dirt or grease thats in them.

i belive the bearing come oiled not greased
