Will XRAY make an electric 1/10 scale touring car, that is very light, yet has has a compact 2 speed transmittion, and is belt drive? Maybe this could be your next T1? The XRAY T1FK'06! (By the way, 2 speed has been done before with electrics).

I think you are going about this the wrong way...

If you consider the Schumacher BIG6, this class is not "BRCA approved", but drivers get together and race them in an organised manner.

What you need to do is develop the class, get people interested and racing them, then aproach the BRCA to adopt them as a bona fide class. The RC Bikes are going down this route, they are getting organised, developing the class and the rules which surround the technical aspects and will, in time, become a BRCA class.

Brushless motors did the same, and I believe they are now BRCA approved (but could be wrong).
