TQ set

Have anyone tried the new tq set yet? What do you think?

I tried mine on sunday and it seemed to give the car lots of steering everywhere. The new rear shock tower is good also as you can now use all the shocks travel, so you get the same downtravel but more uptravel.

It gets the thumbs up from me

Hi!

Here is pictures of the my TQ Kit, if you have sharp eyes you may see all differences between old parts...

I have tested it also and my opinion is that the car get much more overall handling. Thanks to Xray and Mario these parts really kicks butt...

...and also it's amazing to see how fast Xray can pull out these parts, it's about 3 weeks from that when I read news and now I got them :shock:

I`m looking forward to try it out, but I`m afraid it won`t be before next year. Soon there will be winter here in norway. Anyone know approx price on the sets

i do not have the full I.S.S set.. so if i buy the Euro TQ set.. do i have to buy the ISS set as well..?

try that baseline setup they tell you to use. Its worth a shot. You might like it. Thats why its included to run.

What kick up is everyone using on their front TQ sets? The instructions that came with mine indicated that it should be set up with 8 degrees(MAX), however I have just been looking at Yannick Aigoin's latest set-up and he states he used the new TQ sets with the maximum 7 degrees of kick up?!?

Any ideas :?:

I started this way...

Keep your other setting like there are and with TQ Kit try start with these settings.

Kick-up 7, Anti-Squat 3, 3mm spacers instead 2mm on rear arm hinge pin to remove play, you may adjust wheelbase with these spacers too.

This way you can see what kind of improvment you get.

Todays Monday. we just got back from the RC Car action race up in Conneticut. Lots of fun, I was expecting to see you guys up there. did yall know about it ?

sorry. the race has passed. same weekend as conneticut.i told ya too late.i9 found out about conneticut too late to prepare for it.so i raced here. i might make the race in enfield. i hope.this race here was good. nice track layout.this race was geared more for trucks.i managed to pull 1st in gas stadium truck. and 3rd in mod truck. took 5th in 1/8. cen racing sent one of thair drivers here this weekend. it was pretty cool.we still have the barns last race.. dont forget that....

I ordered the TQ set today and the front shock tower since I have the XB8R and dont want mismatch shock towers.

Anyway did it have instructions? And I dont understand what kind of spacers are you talking about in the rear. Is that something new included in the kit?
