2 deg aluminum rear upright bearing problem

I bought the new aluminum rear toe in uprights for my FK05, I noticed that when I put the bearings in them and assembled the axle through them that the bearings become notchy and have a lot of drag, I even bought new metal sheilded bearings and the were just a little bit better but still notchy, but the same bearings in the original plastic uprights are much smoother, Anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions?

would it be possible that your camber link screw is too long and hit the bearing? It hapen to me once after removing a shim.

Try put in the screw but do not tighten it, check the drag then tighten the screw little more, check the drag again use little steps (tighten and check) you will find out that you have an issue with the screw touching the bushing :wink:
