does anyone know if there will be anything available for the C-Hubs to allow for more down travel for the American tracks??
we did a few mods (on 5 out of seven XB8's) though not recommended because of lack of parts at this time.
if anyone is interested let us know at Razorgrafix.com we'll post some pics.
but there is very little down travel in stock form simular to Hyper7
but rear has enough to lock rear cups!!!!

Thanks IMAXX21 for those pictures. Thats exactly what I did and worked like a charm! Now I have full down travel. Just do a little at a time making sure not to go to far. I probably spent 30 minutes with my Dremel but well worth the effort.

After having carried out gene's mod on the a arms, I noticed that the upper arm length appeared to be a little short. are you supposed to adjust its length?

Inaddition to lengthening the upper arm, I slid the upper arm all the way back inorder to reduce the binding. did anyone else have to do this.

skink :(

thanks

Saw, if your arms are hitting the chassis than either your arm isn't attached or your camber is way off. It is impossible to have the front arms touching the chassis with no mod to the arms or c-hubs unless something is wrong.

I did this mod on my car today on a very hard packed track with cracks, running chameleons that were cut and it gave the car a huge increase in steering. Went back to stock for that style of track, but for your tracks that are loamy and/or rutted bad, this is a awesome tuning feature.

When driving it around our track, you could get the car to carve a much tighter radius and the rotation in the middle of the turn was impressive but with the traction that the track was already generating, you had to be on top of your driving to wheel it around the track fast. We also began to traction roll in some high speed off camber sections, which was Gene's feelings with this mod, if the track has a lot of traction run stock droop, if it is lower traction than run Gene mod on it.
