i raced today on a very high grip grass track and was battling against grip roll. I improved the handling of my car by lowering the ride height, running the dark blue springs and trimming the outer row of spikes off my tires (hobao angle spikes)
I am still learning as I go as this was only my 2nd 1/8th race but I found the above made the car more easy too handle.
I would be interested to learn any other ways to help reduce grip roll in corners so I can drive the car more aggressively without fear of rolling.

I also moved the lower front shock mount to the outside and left the rear lower in the middle.

Try moving the shock to the outer hole on the arms, furthest from the inside. That will help prevent traction rolling.

in my experience laying the shocks down more will give more side bite & may increase the possibility of grip rolling?

In my testing when i moved the shocks to the inner hole, I was traction rolling everywhere. The car is easier to drive and more forgiving with the shocks in the outer hole on the arm. But you will get less steering. Inner whole = more steering and more traction rolling. Moving the shocks to the outer hole = more stability, just like the soft arms, the car traction rolls less with the soft arms rather than the shorts. Longer arms = more stable. True track testing results. forget what you read. Give it a try.

The more vertical the shocks are, the more traction you get due to quicker response rfom the shocks = Traction roll on very high bite tracks.

in my club race this past weekend the car was just to nervous while cornering. I moved the front shocks out on the bottom and left the rear in the center and the car was much more forgiving.

Traction rolling can also be cured by useing less droop or stiffer sway bars. I'm planning on testing with the front shock in the center hole on the arm and useing the 2.6mm front sway bar to see if I can get similar effects.
