XRAY - Model racing cars

Are you guys using the plastic C hub parts that come with the kit? I have the Aluminium set and the toe is identical side/side on mine.

I found that the rear toe settings are off left/right even no matter what clips you use (if any). That is checked using either plastic or alum rear hubs. The bulkheads are not tweaked.

The only thing I can think of that would cause this issue are slight differences in the pin hole positions in the molded lower pin holders. At the rear, all 4 pin holders are different. I notice that on some holders, the distance between the mounting surface and the edge of the pin hole is slightly different... other have noticed this as well.

1st entry talked about rear "TOE" but mentioned caster "Clips".

Then someone suggests to measure the distance between the wheels, of the same side.

Then someone says maybe Ur compressing the "Clips" by tightening the screws too tight.

I think part of the problem here is Communication.
Toe is adjusted using washer/Spacers at the front hinge pin mount for the rear A arm.
Caster is adjusted using "Clips" of different thicknesses, on the hinge-pin itself.

Please tell me I'm reading this wrong!!!!!!!!!!
or are all of U talking about the same adjustment?

If you don't check your car you don’t know if the toe in is correct whatever spacer you use. Personally I prefer the plastic clips because they support the plastic holders better.
The problematic part is the rear upright. It is not actually 0° vertical or horizontal. This means that the hole in upright is tilted in two planes. You can check it easily. Take one and pass a long suspension pin through it and let the upright on a glass. Measure the left and right height from pin to glass. For a 7cm total pin length I had 0.5mm difference side to side.
