It's really confusing .... I'm not sure what is the correct position of "anti dive" and "anti squat" after reading tonyv's statement versus hudy setup book

"It all depends on how you measure the angle. However looking at the term "anti-dive" from it's basic meaning then angling the arms forward is actually anti-dive. So in this sense the Hudy setup booklet uses the term anti-dive incorrectly.

The reason is that if you angle the arms forward they will resist downward movement of the front of the car when going off throttle or when braking. Angling the arms backwards will actually allow the car to "dive" down into the front suspension more when going off power which is pro-dive (also referred to as kick-up).

This is comparable to the back where anti-squat is the term used to describe the effect you get when you angle the rear arms backwards. This will resist downward movement of the rear of the car under acceleration. I.e. the car will "squat" down into the rear suspension less when running anti-squat. Angling the rear arms forward results in pro-squat and allows the rear suspension to squat deeper under acceleration. -- by tonyv

I think Hudy Book makes correct explanation about anti dive EXCEPT it used wrong picture to depict anti dive -- the arm should be tilted forward for anti dive.

I'm going to tilt forward front and rear suspension because I need more cornering speed at entry, middle, exit and rear traction.
