XRAY - Model racing cars

I run on a carpet track that has 100ft straight and an 86ft infield straight. The rest of the track has tight turns.

I am using JACO Foams on the carpet run 27T Stock and 19T

I want to use a front diff vs a one way.

The options I have been told that I can use of the T1FK are:

1) Part #305002, this part is the same as the differential in the rear of the kit.

2) Part #305001, this part has the spring steel out-drives. It will also need the low ratio diff pulley, #305051, to use on the spring steel diff.

What is the difference between these two options? Why would I choose one over the other?

Use the same style as you have in the rear end already. It is the lightest diff available for the Xray. Having a light transmition is critical for stock.

If you were running low turn mod it might be worth going for the steel diff but fitting it to the rear end instead as this is where the majority of the load will be. Overall the lightweight diff is the better option.
