My XB8R manual is missing pages 19-26. Luckily its available online so now I have those pages in color.

Also I wished the fancy motor mount had included the chassis screws and conical washers I needed.

Other than those I am completely and totally impressed with the quality of everything from the incredible machined parts to the impressive manual with included set-up information Thank-you X-Ray.

About those balls that HVoltage mentioned. Backlinks in my 6-7gallons old car are soon so loose that i have to shim them (afraid they are gonna drop off over that locknut). Same with suspension balls in arms. Taking the suspension apart - few balls fell on the table without doing anything. Heard theres some coating on the balls that wears and makes 'em sloppy. Is this true?

I've just finished installing my new 05 TQ set for the front of my buggy and i was a bit dissapointed to see that when set up as per the instructions, the right hand diff outdrive rubs on the wishbone and the left side is very close.

It was easily fixed with the Dremel by removing a bit of material from the wishbone. Would of been nice if it all fit perfectly without modification though.

Why is everyone using the softer arms? Is if for durability or length or handling? I ran my Xb8 in it's first race and with some fine tuning (reacted well to adjusments by the way) it have it pretty close to a setup I like and I put 3 laps on the field in a 20 min race. Car works good straight out of the box. I have not upgraded a single part.

That is what I thought. I would think the pros like Joor would like the hard arms better as the car will respond better to setup changes. The only reason I would run soft arms would be cold weather if the hard ones were to become brittle. (have not run in cold so do not know if this is a problem or not.) How much wider are these soft arms. can you get the same length by running the offset wheel hexes? Also why was the car not designed to max legal width to start with? Pontiac has told us for years that wider is better! Thanks for the info. The car rocks!
