XRAY - Model racing cars

i am wondering if there is any way to soften up the plastic/composite you guys make the c hubs/steering blocks out of

cos i know a heap of guys that continually break thm because of there ability to break.........for instance a guy that i race with haznt finished a single race meting without breaking at least 1 c hub or steering block

they seem to be breaking of stress and not 1 huge impact...almost like there is small bubbles in the part where it broke.

Must say that I crashed really a lot and only broke one C-hub.

Xray produes C-Hubs and Steering blocks in S, M, and H compounds as well as aluminum...pretty much covers the ful spectrum...

I'd suggest that your fellow racer:
a. Ensure that the uper bumper brace is fully intact NOT re-glued...
b. get a stiffer foam front bumper (Rubberneck racing or Pdubracing check rctech.net for details)
c. Spend more time focusing on staying off the walls and less time trying to go 'FAST'....he'll break less parts, improve his lap times CONSIDERABLY and be happier since he's able to finish a run

I used to use the walls as bumpers and I broke a couple knuckles and C-hubs (with the other TC's I drove too)...but now that I'm driving cleaner my lap times are coming down and I haven't had to replace a knuckle in months

When i crash it usually big (very big rolls, clipping corners and flying into walls etc etc ), but since i have had xray cars i have never broke 1 part except for getting a stone in the pulley , just get a stronger foam bumper and the impact absorbing bumper ( 301201 ).
