Just looking over an XB8R kit and the qualitly is second to none. Just as expected from an Xray kit. Besides all the kit bags smelling potently of oil, the CVD's are a work of art. All the parts look of Super high quality. And the soft arms, new chassis and new shock shims are a bonus, also the composite braces. Just from a 5 minute overview I realized one thing that puzzled me
.
The Spur gear included in the kit is 44 TOOTH
. I was very suprised to see this !!! I cant imagine the performace difference this stock kit will have compared to the stock XB8 46 tooth ? Was the 44 tooth spur included to make the XB8R a softer car and more drivable with less wheelspin ? Just wondering. Thats the only thing I can think of. Either that or the XB8R wasnt geared towards U.S. sales and tracks. Can anyone help me come to this conclusion ? Maybe Mario, or someone who has more insite on why Xray made this decision ? Thanks
