You may also want to dry some dry graphite or some oil from a bicycle shop. They have some pretty good oils that they use on the newer mountain bikes that are graphite based. The only thing I dont like about WD40 is at the track its just a magnet for the dirt/dust.

When you clean your cars take some furniture polish and put it on the plastics. I used it racing karts and dirt track cars to keep them from collecting mud on the body panels.. It cheap and the lemon scent never hurt anyone..

You may want to check your hingepins. We had a truck locally that squeaked alot and he had a bent hingepin that was bent just enough to make a noise.

If your checking stuff like the hingepins use a nice peice of glass to roll it on...you will notice it instantlyif its bent...

I think you'll find you may have a lower hinge pin that is not lubricated any more. WD40 will do the trick, but I sugest you strip it right down and lube up all hinge points with grease (ARO works well too), this includes pins and balls.

I did some testing on this today while at the track and sure enough there was squeak coming from my inner hingepins as well. Even if I make them free and ream the holes it comes back after one run. Will try some dry lube next. In the past it was my rod end eyelets that connect to the turnbuckle that were doing it, but I replaced those last week so they seem good now.

If you ask me its just noise. My suspension is still free even if it squaeks so its no sweat off my back.
