one thing to keep in mind is did you have any hard crashes in those 2 gallons? I dont remember who told this to me but someone once said that when you have those crashes where ypu think wow i cant belive i didnt break you might of hurt something, so when later on your just driving and the car breaks all of a sudden you automatically think i didnt hit anything but it may have ben a prior accident hope this makes some sense

i dont see it as a big deal, if you really want it to stop, grind a flat spot on the top and bottom(if you want to rotate it) and drill a small hole in the arm and "pin it" with a set screw.

I think I mentioned this in another thread or somewhere here. I also broke one of the radio trays in the exact same spot and I concluded it was from chassis flex on a very hard impact over a jump. It could be that the rubber grommets allow the flex and this way the servo tray tries to act as a chassis stiffener right at the pivot point of the chassis' flex. Look closely at the break and you won't see any scrape marks from the spur or any other tell tale signs of breakage. I think the upgraded engine mount will fix this problem without going to an aluminum plate, however if Mario wants to offer an optional 3mm milled servo plate I would grab it just for the bling factor.
Simply put tho the best thing to do is get the engine mount kit to stiffen up the center.
